MOD Moms North is a moms' club serving Superior, Louisville, Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette and Erie, Colorado. The club was formed as a group for both working and stay-at-home mothers with children of all ages, from pregnancy through the school years.
MOD Moms North provides you the opportunity to ask questions and get advice, meet other moms and kids, give back to the community and participate in a ton of fun clubs!
Today we have over 200 members and growing!
CRAYONS TO CALCULATORS ANNOUNCES 2009 CORPORATE CHALLENGE WINNERS
Crayons to Calculators, a collaboration of non-profit organizations that provides school supplies to Boulder Valley students in need, announced the winners for the 2009 Crayons to Calculators Corporate Challenge at a celebration honoring all 38 participants at the Western Disposal Services headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. MOD Moms North and Chavez Calibrations International, Inc. were awarded trophies for providing the most assistance and the most assistance as a percentage of the employee population, respectively.
Corporate Challenge: Each summer Crayons to Calculators engages local businesses to support its mission by participating in a fun contest to raise awareness and school supplies for our public schools. In 2009, nearly 49 businesses donated close to 800 backpacks full of much need school supplies over 5,900 students!
Each business designs its own participation using many creative methods. In October, trophies are presented to the top producing businesses at celebration party.

Crayons to Calculators Corporate Challenge
This year our group donated or secured from local businesses an amazing amount of school supplies for the Crayons to Calculators backpacks. We had 15 MOD Moms help organize and stuff backpacks at our backpack stuffing event and were able to donate close to 200 backpacks to Impact on Education! We also had a number of moms volunteer at the Crayons for Calculators Warehouse to help process backpacks. Tremendous job to everyone!
MOD Moms Wins 3rd place in July 4th parade!
Thanks to all of you who marched, danced, biked, and strolled your way down the 4th of July parade route in Superior. We are so happy to announce that MOD's entry won 3rd place out of the 30 or so floats and marching groups that were in the parade. Thanks again to all of you who participated. We had a great time and hope you did, too!
March of Dimes Success!
The March of Dimes Team has raised close to $2500 with the following activities this year:
- $1,388 from our March of Dimes Walking Team
- $365 from the Cellarbration
- Over $400 from the amazing raffle
- $149 from the Baskin Robbins partnership
- $97 from the Papa Murphy’s partnership
